 THE PETITION :
An oficial petition against the quarry project has been launched on the 14th of September 2007.
On the 24th of January 2008, when this petition was transmitted to the General Secretary of the Sous-préfecture of Castelsarrasin, it listed 1662 signatures. It has been signed by the inhabitants of the neighbourhood, by parents of children attending the school of Bouloc and plenty of people feeling "close" to the village.
85% of the inhabitants of the village of Bouloc have signd against the project .

Today, there are 264 members in the Association.

The Bureau of the Association Bouloc Environnement is managed by a counsil of 5 permanent members. They preside an Assembly of 10 active members who participate in gathering and forwarding information, in reflecting about the problem and in organizing campains and actions...

THE POSITION OF THE COUNCIL OF BOULOC |

On the 2nd of October 2007, the Council of Bouloc voted against the quarry project :
Of 11 votes : 8 "Against", 1 "In favour ", 2 "Abstentions"

As a result of the municipal elections of March 2008, a new team of councillors entered the town hall. During their first meeting the new Municipal Council of Bouloc has been invited to express their opinion about the project of a quarry at Bouloc. Of the 11 votes :
5 "Against", 1 "Against" but considered as invalid, 1 "In favour", 4 "Neither in favour, neither against".
